Who writes this
The tips here come from real work inside small and large operations: software and data moves, cloud accounts, office IT, devices and hardware, logistics, and the sales and marketing that keep the lights on. We write them up in general terms so any business can use them.
Sappers are on call, not on payroll
When an operation has a problem nobody on staff owns, a sapper is assigned to it as a single Work Order: one problem, written acceptance criteria, a stop date. The sapper comes to where the work happens, learns it there, and fixes it there. For physical design and hardware, the Sapper team works with its design partner, Meridian Silicon.
Big or small, any industry: the method is the same. When the work is accepted, the sapper hands it over and steps back. You keep the documents, the know-how and a note on what you can repeat yourself.
